We also refurbish valuable public safety equipment.

This siren was refurbished for Mayfield Village. It has been in service since the 50's and will continue serving taxpayers for many more years. The following measures were taken to care for this priceless, life-saving piece of equipment.

The siren was totally disassembled, sandblasted inside and out.

The motor was washed out, oven dried, redipped in insulation varnish and baked.

All bearing mounting surfaces and housings were checked for wear prior to installing new sealed bearings.

The rotor and fan were dynamically balanced as a unit to eliminate vibration and maximize bearing life.

All surfaces inside and out were painted with a quality rust preventative paint and bird screens were installed.
(Powder coating is also available.)
